This brush features the perfect size and shape to naturally define the cheek bone. The unique hairs pick up and distribute pigment precisely and evenly, and the tapered oval head gently blends color onto the face.

BRUSH CARE
•Cleanse as needed with mild shampoo and warm water.
•Gently squeeze water through the hair, going from base to tip. Rinse thoroughly.
•Repeat if necessary.
•Reshape to original form.
•To protect your brush fibers, pick up product and cleanse in the direction of the hair; never “swirl” or harshly rub brushes on any surface
•Shape and allow to air dry on a flat surface. Do not stand brushes on end to dry.
•When traveling, carry brushes separately from other makeup to protect the bristles from bending and fraying.

Laura Mercier cheek color blush brush

I too, as another review mentioned, bought this brush just a couple years ago. I paid a lot for it and expected it to last. I too had all the bristles start coming out in clumps. It doesn't make me too happy to pay another $40.00 for a brush because I liked it until all the hairs started coming out.

Bristles Fall Out + Poor Quality

I bought my brush a year ago, but only started using it recently. All was fine until I washed it - now the brush loses bristles whenever I use it and if I gently pull, hair comes out in clumps. I wash all of my brushes the same way, and have done so for years: this is by using a very small amount of Aveda shampoo and very gently pressing the bristles with a little water. I then press or tap the bristles gently with a paper towel to dry it. Disappointed to find that Laura Mercier does not provide any guarantee for brushes. Will choose a better quality in future.
